Actual Installer 7.6
Actual Installer version 7.6 was released on January 25, 2020.
What's new:
Added:
- Prerequisite: SQL Server 2019;
- Improved Environment Variables: added the Level option (Default, User, System); improved the RollBack feature; added a warning if trying to Overwrite or Remove the PATH variable;
Note: Environment Variables saved in Actual Installer 7.6, won't be loaded in previous versions;
- Exit codes for the project builder when using the silent mode: if build is successful, the program returns exit code 0. If there are any errors, it returns 1;
- Option to select the function to determine the default language;
- Improved the feature "Force Uninstall" (ranamed to "Complete Uninstallation") - If a user sets to install the app into some system folder (e.g. Program Files, Windows, AppData, Documents) without a subfolder for the app, then Force Uninstall will be disabled to avoid removing the installation directory completely;
- Translations for some missed components for the project builder.
Fixed:
- An issue with Uninstaller: if the app was installed with administrator rights for Current User, the uninstaller did not require administrator rights for uninstalling. Now it requires;
- Environment Variables: fixed a little issue with double semicolon (;;) when Appending / Rollbacking new value;
- Environment Variables: fixed a little issue with the type of the PATH variable - now it saved as REG_EXPAND_SZ;
- Environment Variables: fixed a little issue with double Values added to a variable (when it already contains the value).
